solid stay, some minor quirks

the reception team were quick. my room was sizable. the bed was superb. the pool area allowed for an early morning swim. the staff in the restaurant was excellent. i got a good night sleep without any disturbances. the room was also very clean.
i did not like that there were ripped net curtains in our room and one bedside lamp was not working. there was no toilet brush in the bathroom. the plastic strip on the shower door was filthy.

A Romantic Getaway

i found the hotel rooms to be beautiful. i appreciated the comfort and ample space in the communal areas for relaxation, and there was lovely outdoor seating. the restaurant offered a good atmosphere, and the food was quite satisfying. the hotel staff kept my car keys safely after parking.
during my stay, i noticed the tv remote control in my room wasn't working properly.

The sports bar was closed, leaving few options with overpriced drinks. This felt limiting. also, the room showed significant wear and tear. there was mould, a disintegrated bath panel, and a non-functioning extractor fan in my room. the spa facilities also disappointed, with dirty towels, broken lockers, and a cloudy pool.

I found the reception staff to be very nice. The restaurant staff were also friendly. I used the spa facilities and it was super clean and tidy. I found plenty of free parking available onsite.

The staff I encountered were cute and helpful . The reception staff allowed an early check-in (which was very helpful). I found the staff friendly and helpful during the wedding meal and at breakfast.

The hotel has a very nice, quiet location (i could relax easily). The hotel is also in a great location for exploring the surrounding area. I had no trouble finding the hotel and accessing nearby attractions.
